McDonald’s to acquire big data firm for USD 300 million: Report

Google Maps has a new feature to roll out that will allow users to easily create public events. Android Police saw a new bit of documentation on the Google Maps Help Site, which indicated a process to add a public event through the Android app. The feature is currently live but it is not available for everyone. The feature, which is called 'Add Public Event', allows users to present events similar to public events being shown in Maps. The option also appears in the major ‘contribute’ tab of the ‘your contributions’ sections, along with new ‘events’ tab of the same section. For the Indian audience, with its new facilities and custom recommendations, the service will look to compete with other players including Amazon Music, Gaan, and Savan. Mozilla Firefox to mute auto-playing video by default

In a wish to offer a quieter and less troublesome experience to its users, Mozilla Firefox has declared that its Firefox browser will shortly set up automatically muting audio and videos that play by default on sites.
