MeToo: CINTAA committee names Raveena Tandon, Swara Bhaskar, Renuka Shahane as members
On Wednesday as per the latest national news in the wake of #MeToo movement, the Cine and TV Artists Association (CINTAA) and Indian Film and Television Directors’ Association (IFTDA) will be setting up committees to tackle sexual harassment in the industry, which includes actors Swara Bhaskar and Raveena Tandon, among others as members. The general secretary of CINTAA, Mr. Sushant Singh said that the organization is joining hands with a number of people to defeat the issue pertaining to sexual harassment at the workplace or otherwise. Actor Renuka Shahane alongside Swara and Raveena, filmmaker Amol Gupte, journalist Bharti Dubey, PoSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) lawyers, and psychologists will also be the members of the committee.
