Soon, create public events on Google Maps
Google Maps has a new feature to roll out that will allow users to easily create public events. Android Police saw a new bit of documentation on the Google Maps Help Site, which indicated a process to add a public event through the Android app.
The feature is currently live but it is not available for everyone.
The feature, which is called 'Add Public Event', allows users to present events similar to public events being shown in Maps. The option also appears in the major ‘contribute’ tab of the ‘your contributions’ sections, along with new ‘events’ tab of the same section.

With this feature, you can add a name to the event, provide the location and time, choose a category of events, describe it, and even provide a website.Get Connected To Us On Social Media:
