Tesla Cybertruck: Elon Musk Takes A Top Notch With His New Launch! Here’s All You Need To Know About It

Tesla unveiled its very first electric pickup truck a few hours ago, called Cybertruck at an event in Los Angeles, California.

The showman that he is, real-life IronMan made sure to make it 'larger than life' and we were practically drooling at the prospect of having such an advance, straight out of a sci-fi flick automobile!

In an effort to demonstrate its strength, Musk put the truck through different tests. He had Franz von Holzhausen, Tesla’s chief of design, hit the door of the truck with a sledgehammer several times, claimed it was practically bulletproof, and showed the truck winning a tug-of-war with a Ford F150 and a drag race with a Porsche 911.

Although, things went south when he tried to depict how 'shatterproof' the armoured glass was, as a metal ball thrown by Holzhausen shattered both the truck’s windows.

“We’ll fix it in the post,” a docile Musk quickly reiterated.

According to Tesla, the truck can seat a total of six adults, the body is made of ultra-hard 30X cold-rolled stainless steel. The truck’s vault length is 6.5 feet, and it will have 4-inch suspension in either direction. A 17-inch touchscreen sits in the centre of the dashboard.

Musk has once again shown the genius businessman in him by launching a Tesla pickup truck at a time when not only are pickup sales on the rise in the US, but trucks command high average selling prices and high-profit margins.

Since currently there's no mass-market electric pickup truck available for sale, Tesla is sure going to earn some huge numbers from this very venture.

Price

The 250 Mile range is priced at $39,900, 300 Miles range is priced at $49,900 and the 500 Miles range is to be sold for $69,900.

The trucks won’t be rolling off the assembly line until late 2021, but preorders can be made at tesla.com/cybertruck.
