It is located in the Guiana Highlands in Bolívar state, in the Southeastern part of Venezuela. The waterfall leaps from a mountain named 'Devil's Mountain'. The waterfall is 150 metres wide at the base. This place is a UNESCO heritage site which comes under the  Gran Sabana region of the Bolivar State.
