Pentagon provides list of military projects that could be hit to pay for wall
On Monday, the Pentagon as per the local time announced a list of military projects that would "hinder" if US President Donald Trump takes money from national security budget for the proposed wall along the US-Mexico border.
Senate Armed Services Committee ranking member Senator, Jack Reed said, “We know President Trump wants to take money from our national security accounts to pay for his wall, and now we have a list of some of the projects and needed base repairs that could be derailed or put on the chopping block as a result.”
Defense Secretary Patrick Shanahan vowed to give the document to Congress after the 21-page list of military projects came.

The Republican-controlled Senate voted to reject the emergency declaration by rejecting the emergency declaration by 59 votes to 41 on March 14, in what was a harsh criticism to Trump.
The resolution was already passed in the last month by 245 votes to 182 in the Democrat-controlled House of Representatives, with 13 Republicans supporting the Democrats.

This resolution will now come back to the House of Representatives, which is expected to vote on Trump's Veto on March 26.
However, the lawmakers lack the required two-thirds support chamber to pass the measure.
The US President for the first time used his veto power to block the law, which came after 12 Senate Republicans sided with the Democrats to reject Trump's use of his emergency power to avoid the Congress and fund the border wall's construction.
A disregardful Trump announced the National Emergency to bypass Congress and fulfill the long pending demand of building the wall along the border with Mexico on February 15.
While defending his move, the American President said that there was "no option" to use his emergency powers to prevent illegal immigrants from spreading crime and drug trafficking.
