Big Whatsapp Update: Soon, Add Contacts Via QR codes

WhatsApp is planning to make it simpler for its users to instantly share their contact information by introducing a QR code process with a simple scan.

As per latest breaking news WABetaInfo, a fan website is testing this WhatsApp features called “Add Contact”.

This feature allows users to rapidly add contacts straight in the application via QR Code.

“It was earlier achievable in the past, however, WhatsApp needed to set up to rebuild this functionality on Android and IOS making it simpler to use.

WABetaInfo Said “This new WhatsApp feature will take over the current feature so it will be placed in the same menu,”

For the security of users, they can remove the QR code system which then ends it from letting other prospective users scan the QR code to have contact detail.

“The UI is extremely simple and intuitive. You can select the country where the user is situated. So WhatsApp will insert the country code automatically, then the user can enter the phone number,”

Highlights:

  1. The new UI to quickly add contacts is not available yet on IOS and Android.
2. The Share Contact Info via QR feature is not available yet. on IOS and Android.

3. WhatsApp is working for a few weeks on these two features, adding new improvements in the recent updates.

4. These features are not available yet for development reasons, because they need to get some improvements before to be enabled for everyone.

The new whatsapp feature will be greatly helpful for organizations, that can publicize their QR Code in their shops or on the Internet.
