Vidyut Jamwal clinched Sixth position In The Top 10 Martial Artists Of The World
Looper, an American website recently released a list of top martial artists across the world, in which Bollywood actor Vidyut Jamwal has seized the sixth position and more importantly he’s the only Indian to achieve the feat as per the latest Bollywood news.
Vidyut has become the hot topic for Bollywood celebrity gossip as he is the only Indian amongst the Martial artist list of the world and receiving this award, Vidyut was obliged to say that, “One doesn’t find balance, we have to learn how to create it, by knowing what to keep and what to let go #kalaripayattu # balancing fearlessly.” “Honours like this help me give back to the community of Kalaripayattu to which I owe my life and all this success,” he added further.
Training from his Boyhood

In the process of conjoining the martial artist holders, the list includes Elrram Choi, Scott Edkins, Marco Jarr, Latif Kroder, Wu Jing and Johnny Nguyen with Vidyut Jamwal glued in the list.
Vidyut was born on December 10, 1980, in an army background in Kerala where his father is an army officer and at the age of 3 years, at Palakkad’s ashram, he started training ‘Kalaripayattu’ (martial art style of Kerala). His mother trained at this training center. The Bollywood star has performed live action shows in over 25 countries.
He debuted his acting career with the Telugu film ‘Shakti’ in 2011, the same year he worked in the Bollywood film ‘Force’, following Hindi films like Stanley Ka Dabba, Commandos, Bullet Raja, Commando 2 and Badshaho.
Russell’s Junglee
Vidyut Jamwal has recently completed the shooting of forthcoming project, ‘Junglee’. The film showcases the relationship between humans and elephants under the direction of Chuck Russell. Chuck Russell has previously directed movies like The Mask, The Scorpion King, and Eraser.
On being asked to director Russell about Vidyut, he said, “It is great to see Vidyut being noted as the rising star in action films across the world. He has a rare combination of cinematic charm and killer moves that will make him unstoppable after this film. What really distinguishes Vidyut is his deep knowledge of the martial art Kalaripayattu and his understanding of its philosophy to not only protect and fight but also use it to heal. I had the pleasure of creating his role in ‘Junglee’ to play his style of actively supporting a positive message. I can’t wait for audiences to see it on the big screen.”
According to the latest Bollywood news, in response to which Vidyut said, “Chuck’s kind words are icing on the cake. Working with him on ‘Junglee’ was like a dream come true. He pushed me to extract one of my best performances so far.”
